I don't think a tiny house will likely ever compete on weight or aerodynamics, but on strength I definitely believe they could. My dad had a motor home when I was young and it was built with OSB. I remember when he would open up the external storage compartment and pull out hand fulls of 'mulch' from the OSB falling apart. So I don't think the quality of travel trailers is something that should be thought of as having extremely high standards (in my experience)

I wonder if one could beef up the construction (screws / glue / materials) enough to actually be able to travel the roads/highways and stay together as reliably as a standard 5thWheel / travel trailer?

I just discovered your site and your blog and I'm in love with your mom's tiny house! So glad to see someone building a "retirement" house that is all on one level. And it's just so lovely, so well crafted.

I am using just a standard plug to deliver 30 amp to the house. For an RV hookup you would just need to use the proper cables (or use an adapter). It would be a very easy change.

It includes everything but the cabinets and appliances (so the trailer, completed exterior, and almost completed interior). I'll give a revised number once it is complete.
