The ATLAS tiny house has been on our property for about three years. We were running a successful Airbnb with it, bringing in approximately $170.+ a night. We no longer have time to run the Airbnb and have priced it ready to sell.
There are solar panels that run lights and a small refrigerator. There is an entire glass wall that gives you the feeling of being outside while fully protected inside. The fold -down deck and fold up awning can be closed when not using for extended times or while traveling with it.
The house was created with tube Steel which creates a strong frame around the entire house and window wall. Light gauge steel was used in between to reduce weight. Dimensions are: 8' wide, 18' long, and the weight is 11,000lbs.
You can view the architects and see the house in its beginnings on : Tiny House, Big Living Season 1, Ep. 13 The Unfoldable Tiny House.
The house is pretty much the same as you see in the show. A couple exceptions are where the futon is shown downstairs, we built a day bed/couch platform with nice cushions (all in perfect shape and clean). The decking has been sealed with hemp oil to protect it and is darker than depicted on tv. We built steps on either side of the deck and a small back deck with steps to easily get into the doors. We also added a 35 gallon rain barrel and platform to the side of the house that fills the storage tanks underneath the tiny house.
The small bathroom has a hot water heater for a nice shower and the toilet is a Separate toilet that could be converted to a water line toilet if wanted, but then you would not be "off grid" which is what drew us to this unit.
