This light and airy tiny home feels surprisingly bigger than you would expect. The space was designed to maximize storage, including an exterior "garage" to store your skis and boots, long pull-out drawers under the kitchen, tall sliders on either side of the seating nook as well as storage below the nook and plenty of storage under the stairs to the sleeping loft - no ladder needed to get to bed!
The "foundation" of the home is a 26' Tumbleweed "Tiny House" trailer filled with spray foam close-cell insulation. The walls are SIPS (structurally-insulated panels) construction to maximize insulation and sturdiness. SIPS are a 4.5" thick OSB sandwich filled with rigid foam (roof panels are 10.5" thick). Exterior finishes include a standing-seam metal roof and cedar siding. Electrical wiring was professionally installed to include DC lighting (LED) to maximize efficiency as well as AC outlets.
