This is a 1993 International converted and registered as a motorhome. The bus starts right up. The bus is about 29' in length but can be driven with a regular driver's license. (No commercial license necessary). The windows make it feel airy, bright and well-ventilated. I recently stripped and redid the walls and the floors with additional insulation. Only Zero-VOC/low-VOC materials and formaldehyde-free wood used for excellent indoor air quality. I've lived in this bus over this winter. It stayed warm and cozy inside on the coldest New England days.
Layout:
The front door opens into a living area more than 12' in length. The kitchen has an L-shaped counter with propane stove, sink and space for a fridge. The open layout makes the space feel fairly big. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and storage space. Beyond the kitchen are twin bunk beds on the left and the restroom on the right. The restroom includes a regular sized shower with removable soaking tub and a Nature's Head composting toilet. There's additional closet/storage space in the back.
Heating and insulation:
The home has a 40,000 BTU propane heater. Well-insulated and sealed while being breathable. Floor insulated enough to install radiant floor heating.
Features:
The electrical and plumbing is set up to be off-grid or on-grid. A 110 gallons food grade water tank is included. I used solar panels and a 1.5kW solar converter for the electricity but these are not included for the price.
