This lovely rustic house has been my home for the last four years. It still feels as good as the day I bought it.
It was a home build finished in 2018. I bought it in 2020 from the woman who built it. It's a cozy open space build with a bathroom and a loft.
The kitchen area has a long live edge wood counter with a sink and shelving underneath. I added shelving above the counter. There is a 2.5 cubic Galaaz Refridgerator with freezer compartment.
In the living area I built in a daybed with storage, a desk and a built in seat where you'll find more shelving. I also added a small closet space.
The loft space can hold a queen sized bed. There is a sitting desk built in that I've used as a nightstand.
The bathroom has a shower, a Nature's Head Self Contained Composting Toilet, and a beautiful leaf shaped glass sink bowl.
***Note that the plumbing has not been finished. I was living on a property where I had access to a big house so I neveer got around to finishing the plumbing. There are only a few missing pipes to be connected to the finish the plumbing and setting up the 30 gallon water tank and a Ecotemp 80,000 BTU water heater. It is a hose hook up for the water. Or you can live off the water tank.
The electric is a 20 AMP RV style hook up. There’s no breaker panel in the house.
There is no heating or air conditioning. Space heaters worked just fine to keep me warm in the winter and I put an air conditioning unit in the window for the hot days of summer.
The exterior is vinyl siding, then tyvek, then 3/8in sheathing, then roxul insulation and 1/4 in paneling on top. The roof is corrugated metal. There is more storage on the outside that currently doesn't have doors.
Its built on a flatbed trailer made by Heavy Hauler Trailers in Ghent, NY. The make is a HE/HA, model code on the title says N/A and the year was 2015. To my knowledge the trailer itself does not have any extra brakes and does not need any to be pulled.
