I built this with my old man in 2016/17. I love this truck and it means a lot to me, but I would consider selling it to the right individual since I’ve now got a family and would like to build our own regular size house in the next couple years. I bought the truck with a bare chassis in november 2016. It’s a 1973 IH Loadstar 1600 w/ the 345 gas v8 motor and 5 speed trans / 2 speed rear axle. The living quarters were built in our construction companies shop over a few months working on it in my spare time. The bunk above the cab fits a queen size mattress. It’s got a propane on demand water heater, shower, conventional toilet, kitchen countertop and sink with hot water too. A sofa/bench w/ storage underneath. 110/shore power connection for lights/outlets etc. 12v DC system for LED lights around the ceiling. White pine car siding on the ceiling looks and smells amazing! It’s insulated with 2” foamboard and we kept it cozy down to 20° outside with just a 110v space heater. It’s also got a diesel heater that will warm it up very quickly. We used that in the mornings in winter to bring up the temp to a very toasty 80° in a matter of minutes on bitter cold mornings (15° outside). It has a two-stage air-over-leaf cantilever suspension that I built for it, so it rides nice! If you are interested in this truck let’s talk. I won’t sell to just anyone as these old trucks are quirky and would be hard to drive if you have never ran through the gears in one of these! I’ve driven it from kansas to oklahoma, nebraska and missouri in the time i’ve had it, but in its current configuration this would need some tweaking to use it as a move-it-everyday type rig. It doesn’t have black or gray water tanks, as I would just hook up direct connections wherever I parked it when I lived in it. Initially asking $34,000 but price is negotiable and I am more concerned with making sure a competent person buys it than what price I sell it for
