This 1995 Gilling High Floor Phantom Transit bus started its life in Salt Lake City, and retired around 2010. I bought it in May, 2018 and have spent the last 4-5 months converting it into an RV and was planing on renting it on Air Bnb....but my business partner has made that no longer an option.
So, I’m going to sell the RV. Or is it a Tiny house? Or is it a Skoolie ? It’s 40 ft long, 8 ft wide, with 6 ft 8 ceiling height. Series 50 Detroit Diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission. ( both were replaced by the city in 2006) All six tires are new and it drives wonderfully. 480,000 miles on odometer. Just did a 4,000 mile trip perfectly. I have ALL of the service records, a service manual for engine, and a service manual for the bus. Title in hand.

The inside has been transformed! We built the cabinet boxes from scratch and used IKEA doors. The hot plate, heater, and AC are all electric, regular toilet, shower has 6 ft 6 clearance ( it is built into the rear staircase ). There are many electrical outlets and light fixtures through out the bus. It was designed to be used mainly plugged in to RV hook ups, but if the next owner would like to off grid, plenty of room Underneath the bus for black water storage tanks, the bed lifts up and might be a good place for freshwater and or batteries for solar or ?
