The house was built in 2017 with 2x4 and 2x6 construction and is fully insulated with fiberglass roll insulation throughout. It has both 30 amp AC and 12 v DC power supplies with AC powered; fireplace, hot water heater, microwave, refrigerator, (2) induction cooktops and DC powered fresh and gray water pumps. The DC power supply is an inverter which is also setup as a battery charger to accommodate the off-grid lifestyle if desired. The kitchen area features a custom black walnut, cherry and 110 year old pine wood butcher block countertop and table with two live edge ash stools. There is a high end Serta convertible futon with USB connections as well as a loft area that were designed to be used for sleeping quarters. For the creature comforts, the cedar lined bathroom features a stand up shower with Delta fixtures and a self contained cartridge toilet. With the insulation, windows, fireplace and large ceiling fan, warm summer and cool winter days are all comfortable.
