Oh the possibilities!
As of today (10/27/17) all of the framing is complete, the roof and walls are dried in, and the windows and doors are installed.
I am excited to find its first owner so that I can build it, paint it and furnish it to their personality and budget! It is currently and unfinished shell and I will be installing the roof next.
It can be purchased as it sits today, as a completed shell with siding, Roofing, windows and doors installed by a professional, or at any other point of completion.
The home is being built on a brand new Trailer Made custom tiny home trailer. The trailer deck is 8’ wide and 20’ long. And the trailer comes with the standard Trailer Made manufacturer’s warranty, which is not voided by being built on.
The Floor has been insulated and decked. Which has been glued and screwed down into the floor joists installed by the manufacturer.
The walls have been framed very traditionally with a few modifications for this specific tiny home.
The windows are new Pella Energy Star certified windows, which is good since there are three 4’x4’ Windows!
This home has a large loft (89”x84”) in the back that cantilevers over the back, and a small loft (44”x89”) in the front that cantilever over the hitch.
The plans call for a standard sized ¾ bath with full shower, toilet and vanity. Toilet can be either composting or standard.
The kitchen will include 8’ of counter space with cooktop and oven, room for a full fridge. The plans also make room for a washer/dryer combo. Hot water supply can be either on demand or water heater.
Heat and air can be anything that will best meet the customer’s needs!
The plans also include a 9’x6’ porch at the front door that folds and latches to the side of the home for transport, as well as a porch roof!
