This Lance 1030 truck camper would make a great guest house, home office or getaway. Listing is for the truck bed camper only. Features/updates • Dry weight: 3,181 • Installed a marine grade escape hatch on the stair up to the bed to gain access to the fresh-water tank for cleaning. • Lots of storage • Approximately $2,500 in battery & solar upgrades: • Replaced AGM batteries w/two 100 AMH BattleBorn batteries. • Added 400w of solar which charges the lithium batteries through a Victron MPPT controller. Self-installed—we're not professionals. • Manual awning over passenger side (has a rip that has been “repaired” w/duct tape) • Manual awning over door • RV Queen bed. Dinette also makes into a bed for a guest. • LED lights throughout. Only two original lights remain. We didn’t replace them because we didn’t want to have to repair the ceiling. • Updated a few outlets w/USB outlets. • Added touch control marine lights over the bed. They have USB outlets built in. • Replaced all exterior cabinet door locks. • The stovetop works great. We have never attempted to use the oven. • Outside shower • 13,500 BTU air conditioner • Closet w/rod • Roomy refrigerator & freezer for a camper this size. • Previous owner installed a small pet door for his dog. • New foot flush toilet • New SnapPads We didn't know there was water damage and rot in the cabover when we bought it from the previous owner. Had we not removed all of the window treatments we would not have found it. We repaired it from the inside, but the new “wall” needs to be replaced & the exterior has delaminated in that area. We have downloaded a step-by-step DIY on rebuilding the nose, complete w/the materials to buy, but we never got around to doing it. Our renovation probably requires renovation.
