We are selling our beloved home. It is a custom home built to tiny house code, built in 2019-early 2020. The studs of the home are metal, making the “bones” of this house stronger but lighter than wood - making this perfect for moving onto land while keeping the structural integrity intact. The best of old and new: real, reclaimed antique wood flooring and built-in shelves, and the kitchen counters are made from a fallen tree from the tornado that went through Ruston in 2019. Care was taken in the choice of materials and installation techniques - no shortcuts were taken. Custom board and batten walls, hand-laid tile bathroom, and low/no toxin materials used throughout. Insulated windows and doors. Double doors in the primary room that walk out to the back porch. Stacked washer and dryer. All appliances included. Though the house is tiny, there are no axles or hitch. It will need to be moved by a traditional house mover. Every house move incurs a unique cost due to the distinctive characteristics of the route.
