Bumper Pull trailers are the most popular trailer design for tiny houses. They are less expensive than goosenecks and they allow for a tiny house to have a more traditional house shape. With bumper pull trailers, the trailer connects to the tow vehicles hitch, normally via a ball coupler, which is attached near the vehicles rear bumper. On light duty vehicles, the hitch ball may be attached directly to the bumper, but these would not be suitable for towing any tiny house.
Since this is the most common type of trailer, both for tiny houses and other trailer uses, many vehicles are equipped to tow a bumper pull trailer.
